Network Infrastructure Implementation & Management

This Service provides end-to-end implementation, operations, and sustainment of logical network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and available LAN/WAN connectivity in support of mission, enterprise, and DevSecOps operations. The Service encompasses the full operational lifecycle of network environments, from initial configuration and activation through steady-state monitoring, incident response, and continuous sustainment.

Execution includes implementation and administration of network devices and services operating at the logical layers, including switches, routers, network interfaces, and associated services. The Service delivers continuous monitoring, fault detection, isolation, restoration, configuration management, firmware and software lifecycle management, and performance analysis to meet defined availability, security, and operational objectives.

The Service emphasizes disciplined operational practices, proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and controlled change execution to minimize downtime, maintain configuration integrity, and support operational readiness. Activities are performed in alignment with approved change control processes, cybersecurity requirements, and service management best practices, ensuring network environments remain stable, compliant, and mission-ready throughout their lifecycle.

This Service intentionally excludes physical telecommunications infrastructure installation and sustainment (Inside/Outside Plant) and network architecture and security engineering design activities, preserving clear separation between design, implementation, and operations within the NTI service portfolio.
