Physical Security
The Physical Security Management for the Software Development Environment (SDE) service ensures the safeguarding of Government assets, personnel, and classified information within a secure operational framework. This service provides controlled access to facilities, key management, video surveillance, and compliance with Government security mandates for SCIF operations.
Key elements of this service include implementing two-factor authentication, tracking visitor access, securing keys and key cards, and enforcing policies for handling lock combinations and security codes. Additionally, personnel will support the progression toward SCIF readiness and maintain adherence to ICD 705, NISPOM, and other security regulations. Monthly status reports will document security updates and compliance efforts.
